We chose this cruise on the Magellan because it was visiting the Baltic. I do not have complaints about the cruise itself, the ports of call were good and the food etc and entertainment were good.

But we were given a terrible cabin, although we paid £100 extra each for an outside cabin with a window. We were given a smelly cabin with a small porthole. After making a fuss we were then given another cabin at the back of the ship with a large pole down the middle of the cabin and two beds, one with a bunk bed above which my husband kept banging his head on, also my bed dipped to the right. Once again we complained and wee given another cabin at the back of the ship which was much better, but we lost 4 days. The noise at the back of the ship was unbearable when docking, it also had terrible vibrations.

The staff were pleasant and the ports of call were good, but expensive if you booked a trip from the ship.

Cabin Review

Cabin Seven

The first cabin on deck 5 was terrible and although they moved us eventually to the back of the ship it was extremely noisey.
