We chose this particular ship based on the itinerary and port; it was great not having to fly anywhere to get to the port! Embarkation was very simple and did not take very long at all. After muster drill we actually met up with a group from cruise critic and that was very nice.
As others have reported, the ship is absolutely stunning and the technology onboard is incredible. We used the wifi service and found it to be excellent. We also found the entertainment to be some of the best we have seen aboard a cruise ship. We Will Rock You was such a great show with a very talented cast! In terms of dining we found fluctuation in the food with our favorites being Chic and Wonderland. We did enjoy the Windjammer for breakfast and lunch (and the food was quite good) but at times it was impossible to find seats and after a few days the food became quite repetitive. The pool areas were lovely but much too crowded to be really relaxing. We were unable to get seats in the Solarium (adult only) during days at sea so walked around until we found something a bit further from the pool area. The other thing that is bothersome is that the loungers are practically on top of each other. While it might be the same as on other ships it just seemed every tighter this time around.
We had a balcony cabin and it was just lovely. There were two closets in the cabin and plenty of drawer space for our clothes. and the shower with adjustable height shower head and clear plexi door was great. There was also plenty of room for our toiletries.
Interesting area to walk around and explore
