Sail Date: Aug 2016

We sailed on the MSC Divina for the first time recently. Since we got a good deal, I was open to trying the ship even though I had read a lot of negative reviews. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm so glad I tried it! I don't normally write reviews, but I wanted to offer a fair review for those thinking about trying a relatively new ship.

The embarkation process went smoothly. Since this was a late sailing, we were not allowed to board until 2:00 and we arrived about 3:30. There was a line but the whole process took probably 20 minutes.

The ship itself is beautiful. There was a lot of bling but it was tasteful. It was also very clean and in pristine condition. We had a balcony cabin (we can't usually afford a balcony but again we got a great deal) and I really loved it. The cabin was tastefully decorated and always kept immaculate by our cabin steward. I asked for ice the first day and after that the ice awaited me every time after our cabin was cleaned. Nice! We slept 4 in the room comfortably.
