The Empress of the Seas is a smaller ship, but my wife, 2 adult daughters, and myself had a fantastic experience on this 5 night cruise. The entertainment was great, the food was 5 star. The dining room had 2 sittings 6PM & 8:30PM, and also had breakfast Ala Cart every morning, with one morning a buffet. The Windjammer opened at 6AM and is open until 12:30AM no stop! Eating is not a problem here, plus you have room service.
The drinks were great too. We loved the Schooner Bar had great a piano singer and the Boleros Bar had games & karaoke at night, Our waiter Dave, Assistant Waiter Richard, and the Beverage Master Junior in the dining room are all 5 star. Our Stateroom Attendant Bosnoakolen was the best also. Disembarkation and embarkation at the ports was a breeze. We laughed a lot with the stand up comics in the Crown Lounge.
Overall we enjoyed our cruise immensely.
Cabin was very clean and quaint. The room would be done when we got back form breakfast, and towels were replaced and bed turned down after supper.
Bathroom is a little small, but very manageable. Lots of room considering it's a smaller ship. I wish the air conditioning had a fan control, because the room could of been cooler one night. The window was nice a and large.
Beautiful place, super clear warm waters, lots to see and lots of shopping
Key Lime pie!! Yummy! Mel Fisher museum is a must see if you are into ship wrecks and treasures. The aquarium is nice to see too. Lots of shopping and restaurants.
