Traveled with children

Our family (two adults, two teens) just completed a weeklong sail on the Radiance from Vancouver to Seward. Overall we loved the ship, the crew, and the itinerary. Nits were mostly minor. Dining room food was good, service was fantastic, and the on-board activities were plentiful for all of us. Jamie Fentiman, the cruise director, should probably host a late night talk show, he made a lot of the parties and shows extremely memorable. Our room was fine though if I were to do this trip again I'd book an inside room to save money as we were rarely in our room. The kids spent a lot of time at teen activities and the rock wall and were never bored.

Here are a few tips / notes for future cruisers:

- There were formal nights on night two (at sea) and night 6 (Skagway), all other nights were listed as "casual," Jeans were perfectly acceptable.

Cabin Review

Family Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin FO

slept four adults comfortably but could have used more storage space and outlets for charging devices, cameras, etc. Bathroom is pretty small but with ample storage space.

Port Reviews

Vancouver

Lots to do - check out the Gastown area (including the steam clock) and Stanley Park if you are staying near the port and only have a short time.
