Cruise to Alaska.....The main dining food was not the greatest. Most Food lacked tastefulness, Very Bland. Also, on our main formal night , The lobster tail and shrimp was very good. However, the vegetable was asparagus. We received 2 pieces??? Just didn't look right. You send out a very expensive meal and go cheap on the asparagus? bad presentation......No dress shorts allowed for dining room. However, Jeans allowed? Don't understand.....Also, kids were allowed in adult pool area, didn't like that......POSITIVES.....The ship was very clean, service ( waiters, runners, beverage server, stateroom attendant & all staff ) was excellent, dismemberment & returning to ship was very coordinated. Excursions were great. Bartenders were very attentive. Shows were excellent. Room service was always on time and always correct. Gym had all equipment needed. Take off party was exciting.......a couple suggestions: 1) Soda fountain in buffet area 2) have a brief news summary bulletin of World highlights & sports. Outside Speaker system was very low volume. Could never hear anything. Don't know if their are rules against this.......
