The destinations on this cruise were lovely 1 week around Greece and then Venice, Croatia and Montenegro they gave easy access to Athens, Ancient Olympia and much more.

The service on board was very good and the food in the seated restaurant exceptional. The food in the cafeteria style restaurant was good too although there always seemed to be a queue ( albeit the queue wait being only a few minutes). The entertainment on this ship was excellent particularly the show we had previously seen a couple of them on the celebration last year but were good enough to watch again without any problem.

The ship was clean as was our cabin we had paid for an upgrade to a porthole which we got and we were very pleased on entering the cabin we had the same upgrade as last year but we had a much bigger window this time and a bigger room so was very pleased on entering the room. However, that was the short-lived we had cabin 6216 and it was near the rear of the ship which seems to mean you have engine noise, and i think anchor noise in the evening at bedtime and when pulling into port first thing in the morning it was an awful alarm call no chance of any lay in. We were informed by seasoned cruise goers to always pay for a specific cabin in the middle of the ship. The noise was a vibration that shakes the whole room even the ceiling and instead of an upgrade was more like a downgrade and some kind of punishment. We have contacted customer service to ask for our upgrade money back but it takes 28 days to investigate so far we have only had an automated reply.
