We enjoyed our first cruise on this ship so much in 2014 that we booked back to back weeks in 2015. I can't say enough about the entertainment, culinary selections, ships crew and all round ambience of the Epic. The layout of the ship allows the free flow of guests (you' never feel crowded) throughout the interior public places and there can always be found a deck lounge on the pool/sun decks. The anytime dining is great, at the restaurants one is either seated immediately or within 5 minutes, there's incredible variety at the garden buffet and the Irish pub is always there for you. If there's one fault with this ship, it's in the cabins where the bathroom basin is in the middle of the room - not any privacy if you're travelling with friends or extended family. That said, we've just booked a transatlantic crossing, continuing on with a Mediterranean cruise on the Epic in 2017. I've cruised on several other liners and keep coming back to Norwegian Epic. Well done Norwegian Cruise lines.
The cabins are very narrow and the curved walls give it a closed in effect, but one doesn't spend a lot of time in cabin. Also, sink in middle of room gives no privacy. View from nice size balcony very good and beds very comfy. Lots of drawers and closet space.
