I had been to both Cozumel and Grand Cayman before and wanted to take my mother and daughter along to see the Mayan ruins. I was looking forward to spending time on the beach in Cozumel but the port stops were cut so short we were rushed through our excursions.

I did enjoy the stops but there was barely time to experience anything before we had to be hurried to stand in a very long line to get back on the tender boats in Grand Cayman. I would have loved to shop at all of the jewelry stores we saw there but we were threatened with being left if we went anywhere outside of our excursions. While on the ship there was not much to do during the day and the pools were so crowded we took lots of naps. I will not ever go on this ship again if I go with Carnival at all.

The service on the Carnival Paradise was horrible! We cruised from 8/15-8/20/16 I paid extra for the Faster to the Fun but was never able to take advantage of it except boarding which really wasn't any earlier than other people who just arrived early. I was so furious at Guest Services condescending attitude that I resorted to posting on Facebook to Carnivals page to get a response. I posted earlier in the week on Facebook about the Fun Finds books and the only resolution I was offered on the ship (after posting on Facebook) was a bag with some cheap trinkets. None of that made it worth the $50 I spent on those books. The books were sold to us with the understanding that we could shop in port and save using them. We didn't even get time in port to shop and they knew this but refused to take the books back! Not to mention the rude staff at Guest Service when I asked to return them because our stops were shortened and we barely had time for our excursions. We have made Carnival cruises an annual thing for the past 4 years. Every cruise before this was great.

Faster to the Fun. This is an option to get priority boarding and a dedicated line at Guest Service and other perks on the ship. It was not any different than any other options on the ship we could have gotten for free.
