So we were on this same cruise 2 years ago and loved it. Everything met and exceeded our expectations. Coming back to Summit we were so disappointed as to how much everything had changed. The quality of the food has gone way down. After speaking with various staff on board including Alana the guest services manager and the Executive Chef things began to change a bit servicewise. I am sure these changes are coming from corporate and the staff is left holding "broken dishes". The guests who are booking this cruise line are booking it for good food and service and we are not getting it.

Our cabin and cabin steward were very nice. We were booked in AQ1141 the same cabin we were in two years ago. There is no longer smoking on the Aft bar on 12, a big disappointment to my husband. Also, the thalasotherapy pool was changed in the Solarium and the massage shower heads in the four corners were removed. Service in the Rendevous Lounge, Cellar Masters and Cafe el Bacio were all very nice. We loved Natalia at the coffee bar. Food in Blu was just ok, nothing truly special. Some of the items we enjoyed the most were dishes ordered from Cosmopolitan ie: escargot and french onion soup. The lamb chops were tough and inedible.

Food was better in the Oceanview. We had a delicious leg of lamb and on Latin/Caribbean night the most delicious ox tail!!! Service was slow and lacking but after speaking with the F&B manager they fixed that by having all the ships officers assisting with the serving of food during peak meal times.
