Cape Liberty is a problem in terms of traffic. The exit in Bayonne from the NJ Turnpike can be delayed, because of construction, for as much as an hour or more so plan accordingly. The arrival, luggage transfer and parking ($20/day in a covered garage) was very easy and accomplished within 20 minutes. Checkin was even easier and we were aboard the ship within another 20 minutes.
The ship is huge but we naver had a problem getting around. Especially helpful was all the elevators fore and aft.
The cabin was great (see below).
Well apointed with very efficiant use of a small space. More than enough storage. Room attendent was great and would clean, or turn down the bed, or bring new towels every time we left the cabin. Just be aware that, when the door to the balcony is unlocked, the air conditioner turns off. Alos, nice having a fridge. Bottled water, case of 24 liter bottles, can be purchased and delivered to your room for $48. Very convenient and reasonable.
No complaints at all.
Hard to get to because of construction on the Bayonne exit of the NY Turnpike. Delay can be as much as an additional hour. Boarding was very good, especially if you are preristered (must have benn done 4 days before leaving).
First beach we went to off the boat was so full of sharp rocks that itwas unusable. After asking some staff member found that there was a very nice beach acrossthe island but it was reseved for 'Suite" guests only (Inever knew there was a "first class that we were missing. Finally found another beach that was Ok but all in all, this port was a waste unless you were "buying" an activity.
