My family and I stayed two days in Miami prior our cruise. Embarkation went very smoothly and so did the disembarkation. The ship was great and the staff did an excellent job maintaining the cleanliness of the Carnival Splendor. Despite others saying that the ship was hard to navigate, I found the Carnival Splendor very easy to navigate. My cousin and I had cabin 8300 which is a balcony midship port side. The room was excellent and no complaints about comfort. The MDR was good but my family and I had reservations at the Pinnacle Steakhouse. I highly recommend the Steakhouse. You won't be disappointed. Entertainment was great and so were the activities onboard. Service was excellent. Ports were beautiful especially Aruba and Curacao. I would do this cruise again. I'm already booked on the Carnival mAGIC (8/5/17) and also waiting for the itineraries for the European season of the Carnival Horizon to open so we can book that.
Cabin was great and no problems with the a/c. I found myself turn the thermostat up at night because the room would be freezing early in the morning.
