We went on the island escape last year and loved it so we thought going on their new ship would be even better. We upgraded to a junior suit but didn't pay to pick our room we were in cabin 8580 the room was fantastic but we only had 1 towel animal left for us in the whole week we were there last time this was a real treat trying to guess what we had been left each day. Not a big deal . We were however directly under the gym it wasn't a big problem except one night when someone was jogging on the running machine at midnight.

The buffet restaurant was mad people were like ants wandering aimlessly looking for food and a table, one morning my husband put his food down on a table but had forgot his butter when he got back the waiter had cleared it all away. We didn't bother going in for lunch it was worth the effort . We used the waiter service resaraunt for dinner but made sure we were down early so we never had to que or wait. the food and service in here was excellent.

We did every show in the show bar some were good some not so good. The best show was when the staff did "Discovery has got talent " . It was waiter service in here it's a shame someone didn't think to put extra staff on 1/2 before show time. We also went into " the venue" every night which I would call the family entertainment room. What a waste of a room. bingo was played to early so I never got to play then the room was empty for hours then there was a audience participation game which lasted for about 3/4 of an hour then it would empty again for an hour then there was a quiz every night that emptied it quicker. This room in my opinion should have been full from start to finish. Someone needs to talk to the entertainment manager who was in charge of the island escape about how to do it. Read more
