Cabin: Inside Stateroom 9

This was our second trip to Alaska, but offered a better itinerary, with 4 stops, than our first, with two. We especially enjoyed the stop at Icy Strait because it is not nearly as commercialized as the others.

As always, the food was great in all locations. The only disappointment was our dinner in the Tuscan Grill. Although the steaks tasted great, the other dishes were no better than the food served in the dining room or Oceanview Cafe. Especially disappointing was the menu. It just seemed very limited, particularly for seafood.

The weather was cold and often wet. We'd had similar weather on our first Alaskan cruise, when we had a balcony. Because of the cold, we decided an inside cabin would be fine, and it was.

Inside Stateroom 9

Cabin 09

The cabin was nice with sufficient storage space. Our cabin attendant, Agus, was terrific, keeping the cabin clean and fulfilling our every request.
