We choose this cruise as it was the only one going out of New York at the beginning of April. It was the biggest cruise ship we had ever been on. We normally go on much smaller ships. I always imagined bigger would be better. I did not find this to be the case. Checking in took ages we were meant to have express check-in but on arrival they told us there was no express check-in!

Once on board we had to wait in the public areas until our room was ready. They were noisy and busy and much smaller than I imagined for the size of ship. The weather did not help it was -3c outside. When we got into our cabin I was pleasantly surprised the cabin was spacious (4 bed balcony) the decor was Modern and new. Lots of storage space better than any other cruise ship we have been on. The shower was a proper glass cubicle, the problem the shower had hardly any pressure and the bathroom was cold. The room had tea and coffee making facilities which was good. The balcony was very small.

We had a free drinks package which was very good. There are lots of specialist restaurants onboard but they were all very expensive and I think you are better just using the main restaurants. In the daytime the burger bar above the lido is very good even for vegetarians. The buffet had a good selection but limited seating.
