I chose this cruise as Boston is my home port, and is easy to get to.Not to mention Bermuda is one of my favorite places. I took public transportation to the South Station and from there a taxi for $12.00 to the port. I was on board ship in 45 minutes. Yay

I like the smaller ships which this was, I was not interested in all the bells and whistles of water slides, climbing walls and the like. The Dawn's size was fine... I chose an inside cabin as i was traveling solo and knew this would keep me from hanging out in my cabln all day. The cabin was very small.. smaller than I have had with NCL in the past. there was no reading chair and the distance between the wall and the bed was about 16 inches at best on the non bunk side. I did have a fridge in my room but it was pre-loaded with beers wines and the like. My room steward was a little sketchy... I came back in only to find he had knocked my clothing off the hooks and not picked them up... He also expected me to keep quiet on something having to do with the last cruiser in my cabin. If he had not requested this ... I wouldn't have been uncomfortable. I am a silver member.. some nites I got chocolates... some not, same with towel animals. Oh and my last morning there was no hot water in my shower or sink !

The dining was fine. I ate in the Aqua, the Venetian and the Garden cafe. Breakfast in the Garden cafe was fine, however there were times that the hot tables did not keep the food warm in the morning and there was one ice machine, one juice and often two coffee machines out of order at all times. The service was fine in both the Aqua and Venetian... with the exception of lunch were is was very slow service for the solo travelers. I had breakfast and dinner in O Sheehans... I felt the fool was equivalent to the food court at the mall. The breakfast service was fantastic.. Dinner service was awful.. My waiter was slow and inattentive.

Cabin Review

Family Inside

Very small. not much room on either side of the bed to get out safely. It was so small there was no reading chair in the room only 3 draws and a small closet/ The bathroom was adequate.
