We chose the Breakaway after reading about the ship. It was great to be able to drive to the pier, park on the roof and take the elevator directly to the entrance. NCL did a great job of processing us aboard and our rooms were ready for us when we arrived on board. We had sailed out of Manhattan on NCL once before, but the sight of the NYC skyline from the Hudson River is always exciting.

The ship is huge so it never seemed crowded other than around the pools. There was no way to get a deck chair after 9:00 a.m. I think people must have gone up before dawn to put their towels and things on the chairs.

The teenagers loved the rope course, climbing wall and the water slides. We all played miniature golf and went bowling. There was plenty to do on the sea days.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

VERY clean. Modern, good beds and pillows, plenty of storage. Great bathroom. I have never been on a ship with such a large bathroom with a double shower, numerous shower heads and dougle sinks. Again, there was storage in the bathroom as well. We were very comfortable and happy with our rooms.
