My hubby and I chose to go on this cruise for an early Wedding Anniversary gift. Celebrating 26 years! We had been on Royal Carribbean cruise 15 years ago. This was our first Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas and wow! When we arrived at the airport we were greeted by friendly staff to direct us to the desk to check in for our airport transfer to the port. We were able to board fairly soon since we had paid for Faster 2 The Fun passes. Well worth the money because otherwise it would been another hour or two of waiting which was the last thing we wanted to do.

Once aboard we were able to go to our rooms and get settled in. The cleanliness of our room was great! And each day we were welcomed by a new towel animal on our bed. I loved this and took a pic of every one of them. It was nice that we had the same cabin steward every day and was greeted every morning by our first names. The rest of the crew were very nice and helpful. We were able to use the safe in our room and this helped out tremendously, knowing our valuables were locked away. My only complaint about our room was that we had a room with an ocean view and although it was nice to see out, the window was not cleaned so our beautiful view was obstructed with dirt and grime. Not sure how often they clean them.

The comedy shows that George Lopez sponsors were hilarious and definitely not for those who were offended easily. The musical shows were mediocre at best. I don't know if it was the sound system or mics but it was a little like scraping your nails on a chalk board. But the cast really tried to make it as entertaining as they could and were very friendly. Hasbro the Game Show was fun and so was their version of the Newly Wed Game. Read more
