Choose this cruise because of the destination it offered. It was a 7 night cruise starting and ending in Hawaii without endless days at sea. Have been on many other cruises with other cruise lines. Was disappointed with this ship/cruiseline. First we brought a couple bottle of wine with us and they were taken out of our suitcases and in place was a note stating that if we wanted them there would be a $15.00 cork fee. When we booked the cruise and on any other cruise line that I have sailed with you were always allotted up to two bottles of wine. Was told when I went to pick up wine and pay fee that the policy just changed July 15th, 2016. First night we had reservation in liberty dinning room wait staff was rude and made snide comment. examples "I guess I have to go get more water!", "they should have told me that I had a party of 10!" ect. So for the rest of the cruise we made reservation in skyline with great service. Not use to seeing upcharges on main dining menu on other cruises or as many upcharges in general on the whole ship. Ship was constantly being worked on the whole cruise with area blocked. On three different nights was woken up because of work going on outside of stateroom. (2 nights they were power washing the ship and another night sanding railing above us with electric sanders well after 11:30pm.

Our stateroom came recommended by booking agent with NCL it had an obstructed view with no privacy. No top sheet on bed so basically it was bottom sheet on comforter on bed. One morning I was naked after showering and saw two different crew look into sliding glass door when they were doing and emergency drill (for crew only).

When on balcony if you looked left all you saw was lifeboat. if you looked right you felt like you were on stage for a good portion of the ship to see you and you could also be seen from deck below. Cabin smaller than usual for a balcony room
