As with all my reviews, this is my opinion, no need for sarcasm or flaming. We've cruised enough times and feel we have a pretty good insight as to what the industry used to be like and how it has changed.
Arrival, approximately 11am, at the port was uneventful, plenty of porters to grab bags etc. We were traveling with an individual that has difficulty walking long distances or standing for long periods of time. That said, we got a wheelchair upon arriving. Once in the terminal we were guided to the check-in line for those needing assistance. Pretty painless and immediate access to the ship. Went up for lunch and about 1pm received the announcement that cabins were ready.
Our cabin was very nice, clean and bright. Our cabin staff were Michelle and Bagus, they kept us neat and tidy the entire week.
The cabin was absolutely great. Clean, spacious and comfy. And actually had quiet neighbors this time. Plenty of storage space, probably one of the first times we didn't use all the drawers/shelves. Perfect location, pretty much mid-ship so access to elevators/stairs was a breeze.
Love the city of Seattle
Creek Street is a wonderful experience
We opted for a private vendor tour. Dolphin Tours for whale watching, 5 star experience.
Nice little town to walk around. One of the better tours is Ocean Raft Alaska, if interested in that type of tour.
Neat enough city. We've been there before, opted to stay aboard this time.
