We have cruised on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and now Carnival. We have taken 4, 7 and 14 day cruises. We wanted to give Carnival a try and a four day cruise seemed like a good idea. We had a total of 7 people in our party and 3 cabins, all of them Ocean View. My husband and I brought our 3 children, ages 8, 11 and 15 and some extended family.

Embarkation: This was a breeze. We drove to the pier and parked across the street from the ship. We arrived early, so our wait was very short and we were on the ship enjoying a cocktail and lunch in no time at all.

Our cabins were on the Upper deck. Everything was clean, with the exception of the lifejackets. They were very dirty around the neck line as they have been used over & over during the muster drills. No big deal. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was in good shape. Our room attendants were great. They always kept the rooms clean and kept ice in the buckets and even brought chocolate chip cookies decorated with happy faces to our kids one night.
