Sail Date: Oct 2015
Cabin: Deluxe Veranda 2B

This was a taster cruise for us on Celebrity as well had only ever cruised once before on Seabourn and we weren't sure if the large ship experience was for us. Our concerns were not realised however, and we enjoyed the cruise immensly. Although the cabin was considerably smaller than the Seabourn stateroom it was perfectly adequate for our needs and very comfortable. The entertainment and shipboard facilities were frist class although the lack of self service laundry facilities was a negative point.

Staff service was first class at all onboard venues apart from some confusion on the first and second sailing days in relation to our drinks package as we were informed at different venues of different inclusions. This seemed to be resolved within a few days. All restaurant facilities were of a high standard and we mainly dined in the Grand Epernay we enjoyed breakfast there as well as we found the buffet restaurant crowded and a bit ordinary foodwise. All shipboard activities were of a high standard, with the shows, hot glass show and solarium highlights. Certainly a different experiece to Seabourn but an enjoyable, classy and relaxing experience.
