We're a married couple 60 & 62. We drove from Pennsylvania and stayed at a motel in Worcester one night then drove to Boston the next morning. Didn't want to chance missing the boat due to traffic problems. I read another review about the poop in the pool incident. Unfortunately things like this are hard to avoid when people drink too much. We had the "ultimate beverage package" too but never got out of hand. Other than the pool problem we enjoyed this cruise immensely.

Some petty complaints: 1.We didn't find the comedy show funny, a couple of laughs here and there. 2. I made dinner reservations at some upgrade restaurants beforehand online. When I wanted to change one they said they didn't have any. It wasn't my error, I had them printed out from the NCL website. Oh well too bad for us, had to start from scratch and there weren't any good times available. 3 They could do a little more for latitudes members. We were silver latitudes members (now gold after this cruise) with this being our fifth NCL cruise. We got ship pins, a cocktail party which was basically a sales pitch for future cruises, and one chocolate each at bedtime. Some on board discounts were also available. We saved on a photo package. 4. Some public restrooms needed attention sooner than they got to them. We're Disney World people and the restrooms there are well attended, maybe we're spoiled. 5. They probably need more wait staff and / or kitchen help in the two regular sit down restaurants. Wait for food and service was sometimes too long.

Overall a great time. Loved Bermuda and the one port of call cruise, sometimes you need more than one day in a port to do what you want. Bartenders were great considering the crowds they were dealing with; drinks were good and not watered down. Entertainment and on board activities were excellent. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly, parking at terminal is very convenient. We did the NCL Breakaway from New York to Bermuda in 2014 and did the excursions then. Saved money this time by doing the same excursion activities on our own.
