We chose this cruise as it was leaving from Perth going to Indonesia and the price for the cruise inside was just $750pp.

Ive got to tell you I was worried about taking this cruise due to all the poor writups about the ship. I knew in my heart they could all not be true as we travelled in her as the Statendam a Holland America barely a year ago and I was right.

Lets start with the inside cabin, these were not done up in the refit but there was no need as they are spacious. We also spent quite a bit of time in a suite visiting friends,this too was spacious but required an update, which the ship was doing proressively throughout the cruise.Did we have problems with our toilet during the cruise? Yes we did. On one occasion it was not flushing correctly so we rang mainteinance and they came and fixed it while we sat around the pool having an afternoon cocktail. This is our 20th plus cruise and let me tell you, all ships toilets stop working some time over a 12 day period. Get over it, its usually something the next cabin has tried to flush! Read more
