I and a good friend had the 12 day cruise tour with Princess. We started in Anchorage and traveled down to Vancouver. We had a balcony cabin on the Island Princess. The cabin was spacious and very clean. We had a great view. The bathroom was great also. The shower was a tad small but I am a plus size girl and found it to be fine. It was a great ship and a wonderful cruise. I can not say enough about the great service we received on board. I also enjoyed the food and specialty dining at Sabatini's. There was a great comedian and "The Voice" was amazing. The other show's were just OK. The music on board could have been a little livlier but we spent a lot of time off the ship so that really did not bother me much. They did tend to try to sell a lot (art auctions, videos, sidewalk sales, jewelry) but other than that I was pleased.

The excursions provided by Princess were top notched also. I did a flight over Denali that was excellent. I also did the Tundra Wilderness Tour that I would really recommend. One day it rained and I did the Covered Wagon Tour and that was fun. We did the Jet Boat Safari and that was just fair. I'm not sure we would do that one again. The two days at sea were wonderful to relax after traveling on land. We had great days at Hubbard Glacier one day and Glacier National Park the next. These are things I will remember forever. I also did a dog sled ride in Skagway and the Yukon Pass Railroad. In Juneau we did Medenhall Glacier, a Salmon Hatchery and Salmon Bake that was grand. In Ketchikan we did the lumberjack show and the Totem Bright State park. All were excellent excursions. It was definitely a trip of a lifetime. I would love to see other parts of Alaska next time. I would also love to try another cruise with Princess to maybe the Carribean.

Cabin BE

We had a balcony cabin on the Island Princess. The cabin was spacious and very clean. We had a desk and a chair also. A refrigerator, tv an such too. We had a great view. The bathroom was great also. The shower was a tad small but I am a plus size girl and found it to be fine. It was a great ship and a wonderful cruise. We way overpacked but the room accommodated everything we brought. I have a cpap and I had no difficulty with setting up and using that also. The balcony was a nice plus looking at the glaciers and scenery. It was very roomy. It had two chairs and a small table plus room to walk around a bit.
