The ship and her crew are outstanding .... The ship was very clean and our room was nice with lots of room. We stayed in one of the Royal Suites and the staff was great they were on top of everything from reservations to having ice in the room all of the time. The specialty restaurants are the only way to go! We did try the Main Dinning room for lunch and dinner one time and would have to say it was good not great. You need to stay away from the cafeteria as it is a zoo especially at prime times you could get run over. I would recommend the private dinning room for the suites as it was great every time we went in and the staff is the best. Embarkation was outstanding they walked us from the moment we pulled up to drop off all the way to the private lounge on board the ship. You need to book the excursion to go watch the bears eating salmon out of the river it is amazing. Along with the one you get off the ship to a smaller boat and check out the glaciers up close. I would definitely book another cruise on the Solstice just stay away from the martini bar they will hurt you. lol
