I chose this cruise for the ports of call. We loved all of them except Helsinki and feel that could have been skipped with more time spent in St. Petersburg or Stockholm. The day prior to the cruise we arrived in Copenhagen and explored, it was a beautiful city with much to offer and friendly locals. Having already been to Berlin, we went to Rostock as Warnemunde had very little to offer than a lighthouse and the beach. Our favorite stop was Tallin, Estonia it was an incredibly well preserved medieval city dating back to 1154.

We loved the freestyle cruising option there were plenty of choices and we never felt the need to go to a pay restaurant as everything was delicious. We purchased the ultimate beverage package expecting our espresso's to be included but they weren't which was probably the only real disappointment for us and that they closed the hot tubs at 10 pm.

Cabin IF

We were just below the disco so it was very loud and hard to get to sleep in this cabin

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

We rented an apartment the night before our cruise. The metro and city buses were very easy to use and the city was laid out nicely. We saw the beautiful colored houses, Tivoli Gardens, Little Mermaid and many other sights.

Tallinn

This is a very walkable medieval city dating back to the 1100's. This was my favorite port of call as the city is very well preserved, the prices are very reasonable and the locals extremely helpful and friendly

Helsinki

This city had very little to offer and it's history is even less than that of America. I wish we'd have booked a bike tour as I think this would be the most effective way to see the city quickly then get back on and enjoy the ship

Stockholm

A breathtaking city. The Vasa Museum was extremely interesting go here immediately as there will be less crowds. For the most effective and affordable way to see the city do the hop on hop off boats. Follow the red line on the walkpath from the cruise ship to the boats

Rostock (Warnemunde)

Warnemunde had little to offer so take the train to Rostock or if you have not been to Berlin take the train there. We had already been to Berlin so we stayed local. Rostock has a beautiful square, some scenic churces and buildings.
