Do NOT book a cruise through Norwegian. We have cruised several times through various cruise lines and they have the worst customer service we have ever experienced. They canceled our port in Skagway and only let us know two days before sailing. Not only did they cancel our port, but they brought us back to Seattle a day early. They were only going to offer each stateroom $100.00 of onboard credit as compensation until everyone called and complained, so they finally gave in and gave us one full day of compensation. I understand they have the right to change the itinerary and understand circumstances arise that are out of their control...however, this was scheduled maintenance and completely in their control. One of the guest services managers even admitted to us that they had known about this maintenance for over 3 weeks and just picked our cruise to complete it. They purposely waited knowing that no one could cancel their cruise the day before. How can you treat customers that way and expect them not to be upset?

On top of this, we booked an excursion in Seattle the day we came back at 10am. They told us we would dock at 8am, and figured 2 hours would give us plenty of time. They didn't communicate to their customers that everyone had to go through customs first and that they were going to do it by each deck. We had to argue with them to let us off the ship so we didn't miss our excursion. They also didn't tell people that everyone had to go through customs, even if you weren't leaving the ship, which meant they were having to wake people up and get them out of bed. Needless to say, there were a lot of unhappy campers. We've heard this is definitely not the first time Norwegian has treated their customers this way, and we wished we would have received a warning before booking...so please take our warning!

Everything was never their fault and they honestly were just complete jerks about the whole situation. We had a similar experience on another cruise line and while upsetting to have a canceled port, they did everything they could to make it right. Not Norwegian, they were extremely rude and clearly do not value their customers.

Your typical inside cabin layout...but a little smaller cabin than we are used to. As mentioned in my overall review, beware if you are tall, you will not fit on the toilet because it sticks out so close to the wall.
