We choose to do this four night cruise to recover from our long haul flight from Oz. The Carnival shuttle meet us at the LAX International to transfer us to Long Beach where we embarked before the 5 pm sail time. The embarkation went without a problem.

Although we have previously sailed with Carnival (Alaska) this was the only cruise line which we could co-ordinate our flight with. This was the reason for our booking and that we had no over expectations on what the cruise would be like.

Having said this we were not disappointed with the cruise and would sail with them again. One needs to remember the market that Carnival aim for, and that you will not receive anything more or anything less. Those wishing a more upmarket experience need to look elsewhere.

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4E

A comfortable cabin hand to the pool area and buffet eateries.

Port Reviews

Ensenada

Hired a local taxi for 1 1/2 hours. Tasty tacos for lunch

Catalina Island (California)

Better quality of shopping than in Ensenada.

Los Angeles

Went straight from LAX to Long Beach
