Nearly everything about this cruise was outstanding. The Gem was the perfect size for a ship. Having been on the Breakaway with it's severe overcrowded public areas, the Gem is, by far, the more mellow and relaxing ship. Staying in the Haven has corrupted our opinion about service. There are no words to describe how wonderful the service. staff as and accommodations were. There is no other way to sail for the future. The only blip on the cruise were related to the ports. Grand Stirrup Cay is worth the excursion. Great beach and beautiful scenery. Port Canaveral, to us, is a total waste. Stayed on the ship instead of taking any excursions. Nassau, as well, was limited if you didn't wish to spend extra for excursions. The shopping was excellent. This is the ship you want to be on. Others can have the overcrowded large ships to negotiate around. Kudos to the Gem and their wonderful staff.

Cabin Review

Courtyard Penthouse with Balcony

There is no other way to cruise once you have been in the Haven. It's very difficult to compare any other cabin we have been in to the grandeur and style of Haven cruising.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Used this port to shop along Bay Street.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

in our opinion, a pretty useless port to take an excursion. a bit expensive and not enough time to really enjoy. can't fathom a reason why this is even a stop along the way.
