I chose this cruise mainly for the itinery, however very disappointed with RC and there greedy money grabbing charges.

Every shuttle was chargeable, even when you had no choice at Livorno due to it being an industrial port you were not able to make your own way so had to pay for RC shuttle. They were appalling only one per hour compared to Tui and Princess shuttles who had at least 5 in the time I was queuing. No organisation either with regard to getting onto the shuttle just a mad rush and whoever pushed and shoved got on first.

All drinks are subject to 18% tax and the drinks package does not include bottled water you have to pay extra for it.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Old furnishings very worn and dirty chair and sofa but the bed linen was clean, and the bathroom was cleaned well.

Port Reviews

Nice

We took the train to Monaco.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

We took a train into Rome and managed to see everything by using their trains and underground system. Very easy to get around a lot of walking but worth every step.

Positano (Amalfi)

Been here before had a lovely walk around.

Venice

Used the people mover instead of RC choice of $25 for the water taxi. Cost us €1.50 and we walked back to the ship.

Did the same the following day, along with many other passengers who, realised they could make their own way. Very poor at RC did not inform passengers how easy it was.

Kotor

Been here before even more beautiful second time around, would never be bored of this fantastic place.
