Was trying a new ship and trying to see if P&O had improved after the mediocre ship Pacific Pearl earlier in January That ship was dirty boring badly served and the food was awful

The Jewel was excellent The staff were welcoming and friendly. The ship was homely and clean. The Dining in the Waterfront was excellent as they did not stick to the P&O rules and we had a table for 12 (strangers the first night) who clicked and we stayed together at the same table every night. so it was like Traditional dining on Princess

The waiters were good and Patricia was fabulous never leaving us without camomile or coffee at the end of the meal and always had a smile an d a hug if she saw you about the ship.
