Greek Isles Cruise 5th-22nd July 2016
Ship
This was our fifth cruise with Cunard but the first on Queen Elizabeth. However as we have sailed on Queen Victoria on two previous occasions, we found the ship layout very familiar/almost identical.
Overall the "suite" was a benefit due to the extra living space. However this alone was the only advantage of the upgrade." Facilities were much the same as the standard balcony grades apart from a few options which we never took up e.g. Concierge Pillow Menu." This type of Cabin layout is designated a Mini Suite on Princess with an almost identical layout. Main disadvantage was the noise which appeared to come from below us. I thought this was because we were above the Boat Deck but was told it was something to do with the hydraulics for the lifeboats.
Unfortunately due to the unpleasant calibre of fellow passenger/guest which comes with this cabin grade I doubt if we would ever opt for it again!
Again first trip here. No organised excursion. Very easy to walk around on our own.
Lovely seaside spot. Again no organised excursion. Lovely seafront with lots of shopping opportunities. Very easy to walk around on our own.
We have been there many times before both off and on cruises and every time we go this port becomes less and less attractive. Shopping advantages very dubious and nothing much else to do due to very limited time in port on this occasion.
