Came on with negative feedback from friends on how the Pearl has dropped off. 3rd time for me on this ship, but last time was good 3 years ago I'd say (about 15 cruises all up across different companies).

Well, I had a CRACKING time. Cabin steward was brilliant, waiters great, drinks staff reasonable, staff generally seemed pretty happy and often had smiles to share. Cabin 5143 was quite and clean.

The comedians were mostly great. I did not watch any of the P&O performances so can not comment. All but 1 main meal were of high standard. the buffet is not brilliant, but still I have no complaints - it was better than I can dish up for myself for lunch! Read more
