Did the Gondolas to Gaudi cruise. We are a couple in our early fifties and this was our second cruise having cruised in the Baltic with Celebrity two years ago. We loved our previous cruise on the Celebrity Eclipse but the Riviera was even better. We had a standard balcony cabin 8090 in the middle of the ship. The cabin had ample storage and a lovely bathroom. I have read reviews saying that the shower is small and whilst this is true it is actually perfectly adequate. Most Importantly the bed is really comfortable and the bedding is luxurious.

The service on the ship was superb ,the staff were all really friendly and certainly gave the impression of enjoying their job. Our cabin steward Maria was lovely and our room was imaculately maintained.

We enjoyed all the speciality restaurants my favourite was red ginger and my husbands Jacques but it was very hard to choose a favourite. We dined at Jacques twice. My husband was disappointed with the poor cheese trolley at the end of the evening in Jacques. He mentioned this on the mid cruise questionnaire and the next day received a call from the maitre di and an invitation to dine there again. He remembered the incident and could not apologise enough. This really impressed us in that Oceania clearly read and act on the contents of the questionaires.
