Last year we were on the Freedom of the Seas when the explosion occured and we lost our toilet for most of the cruise. To compensate - and after spending more time than I wanted with customer service - we received a credit towards another cruise. We decided to use it to bring the kids to Bermuda.

We did read a lot on the Anthem and my daughter was excited for the bumper cars and we were hopeful that the food would be better than Freedom - well there were bumper cars but the food was horrible. 4 "complimentary"(I paid for them so how are they complimentary) menus coming from the same kitchen? Disaster! Tasteless cafeteria grade meals served fast so you know they are pulling them from a warming dish to get it to you. We did Dynamic and the wait staff really did not care since we were not seeing them again.

Since the advent of fee venues the food we paid for originally has gotten worse and worse - why should I pay 35pp plus tax and gratuity to eat the food that I already paid for? It makes me sick that they are basically making a steerage class of diners with those of us who are eating at the main dining rooms.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin F

Our room was HUGE and had tons of storage. The second sleeping area might as well have been a rock. It was an IKEA convertible sofa for all intents and purposes. We paid for 4 people to sleep and instead non of us did.

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

What a mess - you get there early and then people who get there later are boarded first. If you are in a suite than you get the comfy seats and separate entrance. Those of us in steerage get hard chairs and had to pray you made it to the bathroom.

They tried to make announcements but no one could hear them.

King's Wharf

Bermuda is an awesome place - friendly and easy to get around. There are lots of public transportation so don't waste your money with RCCL - get out and explore. We love the bus and made tons of new friends on it.
