We arrived at Port Everglades at approximately 12:45, free shuttle from our hotel, very convenient. On the ship by 1:05pm and up to the very crowded Lido Buffet. I think in the future we will board after 1:30pm so as not to wait in the Lido for our rooms. We had trouble getting a table, but ran into "Burt" Reynolds, who remembered us from previous sailings and quickly found us a table for 4. Lunch was good and the announcement came that rooms were ready at about 1:30pm. The Lido cleared out almost immediately We found our room on the Main Deck-inside room 1058. We usually stay in a Verandah, but the price was too good for the inside and since it was our second sailing on the Eurodam, we thought, why not! The room was an inside Cat J, very spacious, lots of closet room and more than enough space for 4 women! Yes, that's right, four! We received our luggage and unpacked immediately. We also brought a case of wine on board and made quick work to have the mini bar emptied for our Champagne. We arranged to have the late dinner seating, 8pm, but next time think we will try the As You Wish dining. We had a great service in Dewar and Bagus. Food was good, really nothing to complain about, just too full to enjoy dessert!!! Had previously visited all the ports of call on previous cruises, so I only got off in St. Thomas and Half Moon Cay. St Thomas is fun for shopping, we have our favorite little jewelry store and the beach at Half Moon Cay is not to be missed. Service was always excellent, staff always friendly, those who have complained previously regarding service and the friendliness of the staff YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW!!! Waiters at the bars were friendly and attentive. Joy the Party Planner was sweet and entertaining. Faith Poe, the Port Expert, was very knowledgeable. Jimmy Maddox at the Piano Bar was the best!!!! All in all it was a great way to spend 7 days relaxing, eating and drinking. Lots of great people on the ship to talk to and have fun with!!!
