We chose this cruise as we were first time cruisers, who live in FL. We wanted a fairly quick cruise that would take us somewhere different.

Nice ship. We knew it was an older ship prior to the trip. Majesty was clean and well maintained. We even had new carpet installed in our cabin during the cruise. (Which we could have refused.)

Lots of games and shopping on board. However, Not a lot else.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin F2

Small, as we expected. But actually well laid out and wasn't a bad size. Room was on the chilly side, even with turning as warm as I could get it. New carpet. But furniture needs updated. The one chair was hard and uncomfortable, and should be replaced. Just a banquet type chair anyway. Mystery shower gel. Shampoo or body wash or both. Very quiet room near elevators, Starbucks, shops. Would certainly book that room again.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

We prepaid to park at the port parking garage. Emailed receipt with driving directions told us to park at the wrong location. Luckily we didn't think the casino gambling parking lot was correct, and backtracked to the correct parking location. (Not RCI's fault.) But not much signage to assist new cruisers once checked in. And once entering the ship the welcoming was multiple tables and crew members pitching RCI add-on services. (Photo, drink packages, etc) No one to really greet cruisers or suggest where to go or what to do.

Nassau

There were excursions offered by RCI. But not what we were interested in. I wish they offered one that actually toured the island, history, museums, etc. Visitors will be overwhelmed by locals trying to sell products and provide transportation. Not the cleanest downtown area. It's as one would expect in an overcrowded tourist area.
