Sail Date: Jul 2016

We thoroughly enjoyed our July 31, 2016, cruise on the beautiful Liberty of the Seas from Galveston. We drove down and stayed in Galveston the night before and arrived at the pier at the time indicated on our documentation.

For some reason, the woman who checked us in and handed us our cruise cards told us we would not be able to board until 1:30. She suggested we go back to town and have lunch and a glass of wine! We totally ignored her, went to the Diamond Plus waiting area and boarded promptly around 11:15. Her “advice” was very annoying and totally incorrect.

One of the worst parts of this cruise was the muster drill. It was so hot, so crowded and so long, many people felt ill after it was finally over. Yes, it is summer in Texas, but how about trying to keep it brief?
