We had originally booked an inside cabin for this 4 day cruise to the Bahamas. And we were plenty happy just to be going. However, the day before we left for the port, Kevin from Carnival called us and upgraded us to an exquisite SS Suite. Well needless to say we would be hard pressed to stay in an inside cabin on any future cruises. It was absolutely extraordinary. We stayed at the Radisson right down the street from the port. It was a very nice place to stay and the shuttle was very efficient.

Camp Carnival was excellent and Natasha was absolutely a wonderful person to our children. They are 6 and 7 years old and were a little apprehensive about going to the camp but once they went, we could not get them out! They had a wonderful time dining and dancing with the other campers and it was a blessing to see them treated so well. Any parent considering going on this cruise should be very at ease about putting their children in the care of the crew.

The food was better than I expected. We ate formal dinners two nights and the buffet and bistro the rest of the time. The lines were not too bad and the food was filling and a good variety. The stuffed mushroom appetizer in the Fantasy dining room was the best I have ever had. My wife is also allergic to tree nuts and they went out of their way to make sure she did not receive any food that may endanger her.
