We chose this cruise because Venice may not always allow the big ships in and we wanted to see it while it was still an option. Embarkation was the easiest I have ever done, arrived at the port at 10:30am or so, on board by 11am.

We traveled with 2 teen boys and they did mention that they preferred the ships with more onboard activities and of course the flowrider. Overall, while the ship is older and smaller than what we are used to, she was in good condition and did not show any major signs of wear that I noticed. We had an interior cabin, which was fine since we weren't there much anyway.

Dining was a bit of a downgrade from my previous cruises. Only in terms of food quality. The service in the MDR was fantastic and we really liked our waiters/bar staff. We also ate at Giovanni's Table as well as Chef's Table. In those two places the food was more than satisfactory although the wines had been downgraded from our previous Chef's Table experiences.

Superior Interior Stateroom

Cabin J

Clean and well maintained. A/C worked well, cabin steward was fantastic. Some noise from the Windjammer, but nothing terrible. Location was fantastic, easy to get to everything.
