Overall excellent cruise! The crew was very good throughout. There were only a couple of things I noted that weren't quite up to par but it didn't stop us from having an excellent, once in a lifetime cruise. The first was the cabin shower. It drained so slowly that we would have to turn off the water while we lathered up so as not fill the bathroom with water. Also, the bartenders at the John Adams bar were so incredibly slow. I mean S L O W. I can see them working at almost any other bar on the ship, but this one is right on the main level where most people pass to head up to their rooms after boarding for the day. We would always stop by to take a cocktail up to our room. My goodness, it became a joke after the first couple of times.
This was a perfect way to see the islands and enjoy an incredible view of the Na'Pali Coastline. It was absolutely jaw dropping. We also had the opportunity to see the lava flowing into the water from an active volcano (at night).
Our cabin, an SI suite, was perfect for us. We had our 17 yr old son with us and he enjoyed having his own space. The balcony was massive. Having breakfast on the balcony was a nice plus.
Terrific cabin for anyone traveling with a third/fourth guest. I would limit it to 3 as the bathroom is miniscule and hopefully the person in the small bedroom is short. Our son is 6'1 and his feet were hanging off the bed. He moved the ottoman to the end of the bed so he could extend his legs. He loved having his own space though. The balcony is massive and BEAUTIFUL. It is perfect for sailing by the Na'Pali Coastline. Excellent Nepresso coffee maker (we asked and received extra creamers each day and extra coffee pods that were replenished frequently). We would definitely book this cabin again.
Loved this island - just took the hop on hop off bus.
Very busy city. Not a fan of this port but this is where we boarded the ship.
