I love the Alaska cruise especially the Tracy Arm Fjord. This trip we went thru Glacier Bay. It was just okay. Tracy Arm Fjord on the other hand is absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend that cruise aboard Princess lines. I highly recommend anytime dining. We were banned from the Botachelli dining room by a very snooty matre'd. The same food is available at the other two dining rooms. Several of the restaurants aboard are now charging. Best buffets aboard at the Horizon and Caribe'. Excellent salmon in the dining room and wonderful desserts. Wait staff are wonderful and fun. The gentleman who cleaned our room was fantastic, funny, playful and lovable.

My favorite excursion was the Animal Planet recommended dog sledding and musher camp. I was surprised to see smaller, heavily muscled dogs rather than burly huskies. These little fellas and gals love to run and are surprisingly loving. The loved being petted and told how brave and beautiful they are. The ride down the mountain was invigorating and beautiful, although much shorter than I would have liked. The lecture after was really informative and entertaining. We got to see the teenage dogs practice running in their huge exercise wheel. These dogs love to, and are bred to, run. Then we held and loved the puppies. Our bus guide was very entertaining and helpful. The best excursion ever. I would go again in a heartbeat!
