This was our third cruise with Norwegian and again we enjoyed ourselves. The embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly, this could be because we had priority due to booking a suite. We were on and off the ship in about 15 minutes. Our suite(12518) wasn't ready when we arrived so they brought us to a speciality restaurant for lunch. It was excellent and the service top notch. We were told that this restaurant would be available for breakfast and lunch every day of the cruise. While the menu didn't change for the duration of the cruise the food and the service was excellent. The reason we chose this cruise was for the ports and we were not disappointed. The Baltic area is incredible and we were blessed with fabulous weather. My only complaint would be the couch in our suite was uncomfortable for sitting and the carpet was definitely showing its age. Our butler and steward were average, Karin, the concierge, worked hard to solve any problems we had and to meet our needs. Hats off to the entire staff at the 5 O'clock Somewhere Bar. They (Sunshine and Loan) made it so much fun for us and after one day knew how we liked our drinks. Sunshine was going on vacation as soon as our cruise was over so you wont see him onboard for 4 months but Loan should be there and she is so much fun. We enjoyed 3 of the speciality restaurants, Cagney's(steak), Moderno's(Brazilian steak house) and La Bistro(french). We ate several times in both larger restaurants and we were pleased. We like the free style dining, and my husband especially enjoyed wearing nice shorts and not longs pants at the restaurants. We booked our reservation far enough in advance that it came with a few perks, free UDP, which was the best deal of all. The internet is slow and although we had 250 minutes free we use half of the minutes. Save your money and find an internet cafe, several of the ports offered free internet and SPB which we used in Berlin and St Petersburg offered free wifi on their buses. SPB was excellent and I can highly recommend them. We didn't book any excursions through the ship, they are way over priced and most ports you can do on your own very easily. Great cruise and we would definitely go again.

Cabin Review

Family Suite

Cabin SJ

WE loved the floor to ceiling windows and didn't miss having a balcony. Suite was very large for 2 adults but I think it would be crowded for 4 adults. It would be find if you had small children. Sofa was uncomfortable for sitting. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom fine. We had plenty of storage. We didnt use the pull out sofa bed or the bed that comes out of the wall. Heavy drapes were excellent to keep out the VERY BRIGHT and early sunrise.
