We chose this line because of the itinerary and length. We had visited Alaska before, but not Wrangell or Sitka.
Embarkation was extremely quick. We did, however, have to wait until 3:00 pm to enter our cabin. This wasn't much of an issue as we lunched and then waited on the pool deck. Our stateroom 4041 was conveniently located with easy access to both sets of elevators. Our cabin was well decorated. Oceania provides plush robes and slippers for each guest as well as complimentary water and soda in your stateroom.
The staff was wonderful. Everyone always addressed us by name and couldn't have been nicer or more efficient. The food was very good for the most part. The scallops were great as was a seafood crepe. However, the Maine lobster at the Polo Grill was a little tough. They also had an issue getting the steaks just right. Medium rare was just a bit overdone. The selections were always interesting though, and I'm just being a little overly critical. Cappuccino and espresso are always available at no extra charge.
Visited both the Chihully and Bonsai Museums; they were both unique and worthwhile.
Had been there before, so we didn't do much. The weather wasn't great either, so we just walked to Creek Street and back to the ship.
Not too impressed with the town, but they do have a very nice museum.
Our third time to Juneau, didn't do much just walked around.
Third trip to Skagway as well. Cute town for a walk.
Such a nice town with so much history. We booked a private tour to the Fortess of the Bears, the Raptor Center, and the Hatchery, most enjoyable especially the Raptor Center.
Been there before and love the city.
