Pros:

First time on a cruise and had an overall great experience with NCL. Booked a guaranteed balcony at a discounted rate and ended up with a large balcony stateroom (7008), which was nice! Housekeeping (Ms. Amy) was very friendly and took care of whatever we needed. Food at East Meets West, Aloha Cafe, & Cadillac Diner was very good and for the most part complimentary. Amazing balcony views. My wife and I did our own excursions via rental cars and local shuttles. Road to Hana was breathtakingly beautiful, snorkling in Maui is a must, came across great shopping deals at local markets, still can't believe we saw an active volcano erupting while at sea. Such a great time / memories and I highly recommend this cruise especially for first timers like me...
