My husband and I took three of our adult children on this cruise. We spent four days prior to the sailing in London which helped with jetlag. It was an older crowd on the ship but since there were only two at sea days, it was fine. We went on all Princess excursions which are more costly but very convenient. The guides were all wonderful and we were on time at all ports. The laundry rooms were problematic with at least one machine not working on each floor. The ship probably is due for a make-over, the furniture was worn and grout was missing but our cabin was clean and staff friendly. We had dinner at the 5:30 seating which allowed for us to see the shows and be ready for early departures the next day. We tried not to overbook ourselves and had some half-day tours and left the remainder of the day to ourselves. Overall, we enjoyed this cruise very much as the weather was pretty good, very little rain at all.
We had a mini-suite which is very convenient when you travel with other people. The three children shared an interior room across the hall from us. We really weren't in our rooms very much.
This was the location voted the best by the family. Friendly people and very enjoyable walk.
Scotland was very green and lots of sheep!
Enjoyed our time.
