Just got back from a 12 night cruise with Royal Caribbean. This was my third RC cruise in 12 months (and my third cruise ever too). There were good things and bad things. I may cruise with them again but i'm not sure.

The disappointing bits :-

The cruise did everything it said on the tin but the biggest disappointment was all the extra charges for getting off the boat and the location. We tool this cruise because we wanted to visit Venice, but we had to pay $25 per day per person to get into Venice from the boat, so an extra $100. Other stops has a shuttle and again there were charges. One port Ravenna was $22 per person to get a shuttle to, so we missed out on this as we had spent so much money on getting to other locations.

Cabin Q

Room was good as you didn't get lots of people passing your room, HOWEVER it is near the orchestra pit so if you like to have a rest in the afternoon you could hear them rehearsing very loud each day. Also you are under the theatre so if you want to get to bed before 11.30pm you may want to go elsewhere.

Beautiful place, tender tooked us straight into the centre and amazingly we didn't have to pay extra for this!
