This is our 7th cruise. We have been on 6 NCL cruises. This is our first on RCCL cruise and we just completed the 2nd day of the cruise. We are in a Junior Spa Suite. The stateroom is absolutely beautiful and spacious. That is were the good ends. The ship is way overcrowded. We were greeted by a very rude server in the Windjammer. The food is much lower quality than NCL (or McDonalds for that matter). The lines go on forever. The shower stall in our cabin was clogged and overflowed. The safe in our cabin broke and had to be fixed. Friends had no cold water in their stateroom, only "scalding hot" in their cabin for an entire day. The elevator buttons did not always work. Worst of all, this ship is a floating mall with very expensive stores similar to Short Hills Mall in NJ. Who wants to live in a mall like that for days on end? There are carnival barkers everywhere trying to sell their stuff on the ship which is so annoying. There is always a wait for elevators. The entertainment is ok, but nothing special. The drinks were potent, but not so good. Asking for a frozen anything came back with the drink quite lumpy instead of smooth. All-in-all, cannot wait to get back to NJ. Horrible. We had another cruise on the Anthem scheduled for January. We called today and cancelled it.
