Sail Date: Jul 2016

When we first pulled up to the dock, we unloaded our baggage and then went to go park. Then we walked to the check in area. This had to be the easiest check in we ever experienced for a cruise. We have sailed Carnival and Norweign in the past. We checked in at 945am and were on the ship by 1045 am. We had the beverage package but I decided to upgrade to the premium package. You were able to do this while waiting to board. They even sold lanyards while waiting.

Everyone was extremely pleasant and welcoming. When you walked on board. One nice touch for celebrity was they handed you a glass of champagne when you walked on board. I thought this was a classy touch.

We were able to eat by 1130 at the buffet on the lido deck. Food was good. You typical lido deck buffet. It was set up very similar to Norweign lido buffet. I did love their chicken Salad :) I should say the food was almost always the same for breakfast and lunch. I had read they were changing how they serve the food on the buffett (individual servings and not serve yourself) but that was not the case. You could serve yourself but the workers would usually held for the trays that were in the rear. I was actually impressed that the plates were real!!! NOT hard plastic. Another classy touch. The seating area in the buffet was comfortable. Plenty of windows. They even had windows in the floor and you look down and could see the ocean. That was cool.
